About KickClips
KickClips is a small, independent website that helps people save public clips from Kick as MP4 files, and explains how to handle them safely. It is free to use, it does not need an account, and it is not affiliated with Kick.
What KickClips is for
Kick clips are short moments from streams. Viewers and streamers often want to keep one: to rewatch it, send it to a friend, or edit it into something new. Kick's own clip page has a Download button, and KickClips is an independent alternative: paste a clip link, check the preview, and save the MP4.
We also write guides on the questions that come up around clips: how to download on iPhone, Android and PC or Mac, what to do when a clip will not download, and what to know about copyright and permission. The main guide is how to download Kick clips, and the tool itself is on the home page.
How it works, in plain words
- You paste the link of a public Kick clip and press Download.
- Your browser asks Kick for the clip's information and video directly.
- If Kick already has a ready-made MP4, your browser downloads it. Otherwise it downloads the clip's video pieces and joins them into a single MP4 on your device, without re-encoding, so the picture stays as it is on Kick.
- You press Save MP4 to keep the file.
The clip file and the link you paste are not uploaded to or stored on KickClips servers. Like any website, our web server and Cloudflare, which sits in front of it, may keep normal access logs. Details are in the privacy policy. KickClips adds no watermark, overlay or end card of its own.
What it does not do
- It works for public clips only. It does not download live streams, full VODs or highlights, subscriber-only or private content, or clips that have been deleted.
- It is not a bulk downloader.
- It cannot improve quality. The result is whatever Kick stores for that clip.
- It does not give you rights to a clip. Copyright stays with the creator, so ask permission and give credit before you repost anything. See our terms of use.
- We have mainly tested it in desktop Chrome on Windows. Other browsers and devices usually work the same way in principle, but we cannot promise that they do. If a long clip fails on a phone, trying again on a computer is the fallback.
Independent, not affiliated with Kick
KickClips is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kick. Kick and its logo are trademarks of their owners. We use the name only to describe what the tool works with.
How the site is funded
KickClips is free for visitors, and at the moment the site shows no ads. We cannot promise that will never change. If it does, for example if we add advertising or analytics to cover costs, we will update the privacy policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who writes this
Everything on the site is published under the name KickClips Team. We write the guides to be accurate and to say clearly when we have not tested something, rather than to catch search traffic.
